What is the youngest age client that you’ll see?

I generally do not work with children under the age of 12, but I sometimes make exceptions.

What’s the end goal of therapy?

It really depends on you.

However, in general, it’s to identify what’s not going right in your life and address it at its root level, so you can think, act, and feel better.

I’ll also help you clarify and pursue your goals. By tracking your progress, we’ll eventually reach a point where therapy is no longer necessary.

Working my way out of a job is a lousy business model, but it sure feels good!

Should I do therapy, take medication, or both?

This is best determined on a person-by-person basis.

That said, under the qualified supervision of a medical professional, certain medications are useful tools and can provide relief from symptoms like anxiety or depression.

Medication, however, does not address the root problems. That’s what therapy is for.
